From Communication Arts magazine:
One of every two people in Spain has a pet. Canino is the first magazine that caters to a young, creative, urban and pet-loving target audience.
Self-published from the ground-up, Canino magazine was a case study in Barcelona, Spain to unite young adult urbanites through their shared love of pets. Intending to re-invent the pet publishing genre, the editorial core is a local and human exploration of pet-friendly boutiques, eateries, designers and experiences. Feature stories include celebrity interviews, travel and exclusive fashion spreads with original dog designs from top Spanish labels. It concluded with a rigorous self-researched city guide to pet-friendly businesses and services, also available on the magazine’s website. The result is an inspired variety of professionals, politicians and locals sharing their stories. The magazine was invited to appear in Communication Arts magazine (Interactive Annual 14) and website, where it exists in their Exhibit archives. It was also featured in Spain’s most widely-read publication, EL PAÍS Semenal, and invited to exhibit at FNAC Club Cultura exhibition space.
